JEAN PAUL FAVAND: A DIGITAL ARTIST OUT OF THE NORM

A PIONEERING APPROACH IN DIGITAL ART

Along with the staging of the Pavillons de Bercy, Jean Paul Favand continues his artistic approach outside of the museum based on the revelation of existence.

He has been experimenting with this logical and down-to-earth, rather than conceptual, approach for 40 years. He began by revealing objects using video projection, and soon after, he wanted a research laboratory to study “augmented perceptions”.

He continued his approach outside the walls of the museum through his exhibition Virtualia: Digital Fairs, a veritable cabinet of digital curiosities designed for the Arts Center of Enghien-les-Bains (April 24 / June 30, 2013)

You can find this artistic work on his personal website.
