We are delighted and proud to announce that in June 2024 our museum was awarded ISO 20121 certification for its events activity!
This international standard, specific to the events industry, attests our commitment to hosting events that are more sustainable and respectful of the environment. It rewards our work and our determination to implement responsible practices in all our operations.
What is ISO 20121?
ISO 20121 is a sustainable event management standard that helps organizations integrate sustainable practices throughout an event’s lifecycle. It aims to minimize the economic, social and environmental impacts of an event in order to make it more responsible.
Our path to certification
The certification process began in 2022, involving a diagnosis of our practices, listening to stakeholders, training Sustainable Development referents and defining challenges and objectives. Following this, we set up a Responsible Management System (RMS), drafted our Sustainable Development Policy, established procedures, and put in place an action plan to meet the requirements of the standard and, above all, achieve our objectives.
What this means for you
For our customers and partners, this certification guarantees that we are doing our utmost to help you organize your event responsibly.
Towards a sustainable future
This achievement is the fruit of a collective effort and ongoing commitment on the part of our entire team. Obtaining this certification is an important step, but we’re only at the beginning of our approach. The operating system on which ISO 20121 is based is an evolving structure that allows for constant improvement. We will therefore continue to improve our practices and seek innovative solutions to make hosting your events even more sustainable.
We would like to thank all our team members, customers and partners for their ongoing support. Together, we are taking another step towards a more sustainable and responsible future. 🌿💚
