A PIONEERING APPROACH IN DIGITAL ART

In parallel to his work as an exhibition designer at the Pavillons de Bercy, Jean Paul Favand also carries out an artistic process based on revealing the existing.

Jean Paul Favand has been experimenting this instinctive and down to earth approach for 40 years. He started by revealing his objects using video projection within the Pavillons de Bercy; a place he considers has a research lab in the “augmented reality” field.

This artistic process was also featured outside the Pavillons de Bercy through the exhibition Virtualia: digital wonders. Jean Paul Favand specifically created a genuine digital cabinet of curiosities to display his work at the Centre des Arts d’Enghien-les-Bains (24 avril/30 juin 2013)
